We at BRIDGESTONE TG AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD. Edwardstown South Australia, design, develop, manufacture and supply products within the Rubber and Plastics industries, and are committed to conduct our business in a safe and environmentally responsible manner while satisfying applicable requirements with the assistance of an integrated management system.

It is our objective to continuously improve our systems and processes in order to meet the needs placed upon us, to provide effective management of occupational health, safety, claims and rehabilitation issues, aimed at eliminating work related illness and injury, where we have an influencing affect on those who attend our premises, by utilisation of the appropriate expertise, consultation, hazard management and associated indicators.

Utilising a team approach we are committed to maintain responsible quality, occupational health, safety, welfare and environmental management and to aim for continuous improvement of our quality, occupational health, safety, welfare and environmental performance which is supported and encouraged by all people in the organisation.

To achieve this we will:

  • Implement and maintain an integrated management system certified to a current edition of:
    • Occupation Health And Safety standard
      AS/NZS 4801,
    • Environmental standard AS/NZS ISO 14001,
    • Quality standard ISO/TS 16949.
  • Aim for best quality, occupational health, safety, claims, rehabilitation and environmental practise in our operations, in order to reduce the impact on our customers, those who attend our premises and the environment;
  • Comply with or exceed all relevant legislation, applicable standards and guidelines, and all relevant policies and procedures;
  • Regularly set and review our quality, occupational health and safety, claims, rehabilitation and environmental objectives and targets;
  • Provide information and be responsive to the community and employees on our occupational health, safety, welfare and environmental performance;
  • Work to prevent pollution, minimise waste and promote recycling in our operations;
  • Promote and encourage quality, occupational, health, safety, welfare and environmental awareness in the supply chain, with our customers and among all those who attend our premises.

The result will provide the basis for BRIDGESTONE TG AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD. to achieve the company's Direction Statement.
